    Erosion at the Cove due to strong coastal storms over the past year has caused the beach to lose more than 900 square feet of sand, limited 4-by-4 vehicle access and led residents living along the Brigantine beach to look into building bulkheads to protect their homes.

    A developer is working to secure funding for a $25 million plan to renovate the old Knights of Columbus building on Pacific Avenue. Built in 1927, the five-story building has been described as historic but in disrepair.
